Fit out of head office, bringing together key departments of the healthcare operation. The design incorporates more flexible work practices. Work zones include hot desks, collaborative areas, open meeting zones, multi purpose breakouts and quiet rooms. A key part of the client brief was to incorporate ESD (Ecologically Sustainable Development) into the design to ensure the building’s Green Star rating with the Green Building Council of Australia. The interiors take advantage of abundant natural light through a central light court and five patios around the perimeter of the building. We used green-star compliant materials including cork flooring, recycled timber joinery, 100 per cent recycled PET screens. An extension of 320 sq metres is now underway.
